Alltype Engineering is a multifaceted engineering company providing fabrication and installation services to the Oil & Gas, Water, Power Generation, Infrastructure, Mining, Resources, Utility, Petrochemical and Defence industries, in both the private and public sectors.Alltype Engineering has been operating since 1985 and our longevity is a result of the capability of our team, our culture, and the ability to collaboratively deliver contracts and projects for our clients whilst maintaining a flexible and innovative approach to finding solutions to challenges.Job DescriptionThe Project Engineer will have the opportunity to work with Senior Project Managers and their teams, participate in major project work, developing skills and experience across a broad range of functions in your relevant study area and workingwith highly proficient and experienced mentors in a multi-disciplinary environment.The role responsibilities include:Review drawings and specifications and execute the scope of work in accordance with these.Prepare MTO's and RFQ packs for material procurement and subcontractor engagement.Evaluate quotes and prepare technical and commercial bid evaluations for material and subcontract packages for approval.Review and understand project budgets and schedules and assist with identifying project variations.Deliverengineering administrative and technical support to project teams tofacilitate effective delivery of projects.Scheduling of procurement, fabrication and subcontractor engagement to meet project schedules.Oversee project deliverables for site execution including ITP's, ITR's, work packs.Develop progress tracking spreadsheets and provide updates and report on project progress.Liaise with client representatives on project commitments and assist resolving technical queries.Prepare and maintain project documentation and deliverables.Ensure compliance with client QAQC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans and procedures.Work in accordance with the Company's Core Values.QualificationsHave a Civil or Structural / Mechanical / Piping (SMP)Engineering Degree with around 5+ years' experiencein AustraliaDemonstrated comprehensive skill, knowledge, and experience of the following:Gas pipeline facilities or process plant constructionPackage managementSubcontractor managementTest Pack development and completionWillingness to travel on an ad hoc basis or potentially regular rosters and be eligible to access client sites.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal employeesWhite CardAdditional InformationFurther details will be discussed with successful candidates at the interview stage.If you have the relevant skills,experience,and desire to join a great team at an exciting time in the company's development then please apply now.Any non-genuine applications or enquiries will beremoved,and no response registered.The position offers challenging work, longevity, the ability to directly influence outcomes as well as career development prospects within an expanding company.Recruitment Agency and Labour Hire companies are not required to fulfil this role at this time.
