Your responsibilities
- Manage strategic sourcing processes incl. RFx
- Active supplier management, especially in establishing and developing supplier relationships
- Creation of a spent-map in collaboration with Group-wide Procurement
- Obtaining and evaluating offers, as well as negotiating purchasing and procurement conditions and contracts with suppliers in consultation with strategic purchasing and production planning
- Optimization of coordination with the production plants as part of the regular S&OP and foster collaboration with R&D and Production
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify emerging risks and develop mitigation plans
- Management and maintenance of purchasing/procurement data and documents
- Define group-wide procurement processes to foster collaboration and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree preferable in chemistry, business, economics, finance or/and specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous
- Several years of relevant experience in strategic and/or operational procurement in the chemical industry
- Negotiating skills with a solution-oriented approach
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Proficient Business English and German
- Confident handling of SAP and all common MS Office tools
- Willingness to travel, to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships
