Join our pioneering team and launch your career to new heights! WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO: Rocket Lab is developing an in-house Hall thruster! As a Senior Engineer responsible for the Hall thruster power electronics, you'll direct and perform development engineering on the power processing unit and its interfaces in the best interest of the company. Risk, cost, or quality-based decisions are to be identified and mitigated early. You will need to provide regular guidance to a highly capable team of engineers and technicians as the thruster grows from an idea into flight operations and further forward into production. - Contributed to the development of an electric propulsion PPU
- Proven circuit board design and component selection skills
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years spacecraft industry experience
- 5 years total work experience
- Development of an electric propulsion system
- Flight operations of an electric propulsion system
- Production line operations of an electric propulsion system
- Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- 8 years spacecraft industry experience
