I was diagnosed with ADHD as a 48 year old adult. Suddenly, my entire life fell into place. My history of generalised anxiety and feeling ‘different’ to others, made perfect sense. Since then, my passion is to work with adults with ADHD and Autism Spectrum as I feel I have a unique perspective. How I work as a psychotherapist…. I can work with almost all issues. Many times, the real issue arises further into the therapy journey. We can take therapy at your own pace and provide a safe and highly confidential space for you As a therapist, I work with many modalities, the main one being a person-centred approach (Carl Rogers, 1967), where I always have unconditional positive regard for my clients. I have genuine empathy and am entirely non-judgemental Therapy is the one place where you do not have to censor your words. I use many other theoretical modalities and work in an integrative and flexible approach My Qualifications and Training Deirdre Fahy Psychotherapist (IACP) Honours Degree in Philosophy: Trinity College, Dublin BSC Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy: PCI College, Dublin DBT – Dialectical Behaviour Therapy: Level 2 Certified MBCT – (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): Certified ADHD- What’s new and what’s next in supporting Neurodiverse Clients- Certified Regions Served : Europe, Ireland, United Kingdom Service : CBT, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, Parts Therapy, Person centred, Psychotherapy, Sensorimotor psychotherapy, Somatic Therapy #J-18808-Ljbffr
