We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead/Specialist Electrical Engineer to join our client team for an FPSO Suriname project. The successful candidate will bring 11-15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a specific focus on FPSO and offshore projects. This role involves leading the electrical engineering activities, ensuring project deliverables are met, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for the FPSO project.
• Ensure all electrical systems and components are designed, installed, tested, and maintained according to project specifications and industry standards.
• Develop and review electrical engineering documents including schematics, drawings, and reports.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project management, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct electrical load studies and power distribution designs.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team and stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor junior electrical engineers and provide training as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues and provide innovative solutions.
• Prepare and present project status reports to clients and management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 11-15 years of experience in electrical engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on FPSO and offshore projects.
• Proven track record of leading electrical engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Willingness to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for the duration of the project.
