Senior Production Manager (Aerospace/ Aviation)

Position Title: Senior Production Manager Industry: Aviation & Aerospace Location: Petaling Jaya Salary: Open for discussion Job Overview: The Senior Production Manager will oversee the Cleaning, Inspection, and High Pressure Compressor (HPC) departments, ensuring that all processes are carried out efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the high-quality standards of our services and for driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aviation/aerospace component repair, a strong understanding of high-pressure systems, and proven leadership capabilities. Job Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Management
   • Lead and manage teams within the Cleaning, Inspection, and HPC departments.
   • Develop and implement departmental goals, objectives, and procedures in line with company policies and industry regulations.
   • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
2. Operational Oversight
   • Ensure all cleaning, inspection, and HPC processes meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
   • Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address any non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
3. Quality Assurance
   • Ensure all cleaning, inspection, and HPC processes meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

4. Process Improvement
   • Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
   • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation in production processes.
5. Health and Safety
   • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
   • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to mitigate potential hazards.
6. Customer Relations
   • Work closely with the customer service and sales teams to understand customer needs and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
   • Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree/ Masters in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation/aerospace component repair, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with high-pressure compressor systems and related processes.
• Proven track record of managing complex production environments and leading successful teams.
• Strong understanding of cleaning and inspection techniques for aviation components.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficient in using production management software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
