Diesel Direct is Hiring Diesel Mechanics East Providence, Rhode Island Benefits: Hourly pay is $25 - $35 per hour based on experience Our mechanics average between $1,000 – $1,400 per week This is a full-time position - 40 hours per week - overtime is possible Overtime pay is time and a half No weekends typically (unless required by company demand) Heated and cooled shop that is well-ventilated and very clean Company-provided uniforms Paid holidays and PTO PTO starts accruing after the first week at 2.0 hours a week until 40 hours then changes to .47 per week Medical, dental, vision, and 401K Requirements: At least 3 years of diesel mechanic experience A CDL and hazmat endorsement is preferred, but not required Must have your own tools and be able to weld equipment as needed Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs Ability to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and performing repairs and maintenance on equipment Interpret work orders and technical manuals Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems Test repaired equipment for proper performance and ensure that the work meets the manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations The ability to work alone or as a team About Diesel Direct Diesel Direct Delivers High-Quality Fuel, Reliable Fuel Services, and Peace of Mind Our business, team members, and partners are like family to us.
