Regional Head of Projects (Hong Kong + SEA), Asia Pacific

Role Reports to the Property Director in Asia Pacific, the Regional Head of Projects, will be based in the Kuala Lumpur office, to manage the end-to-end fit out, upgrading, refurbishment and maintenance of F&B, catering and retail outlets in the region from risk assessment, budget estimation, concept design through to completion as well as supporting the facilities/assets team to monitor asset performance within the business. Responsibilities

• Closely work with the Property Director and APAC Project Team regarding all aspects of project strategy, planning development and implementation.
• Manage your Project team to complete project cycles starting from initial site visit, due diligence, design & drawings, tendering management, cost control, timing & progress monitoring, quality control, internal & external compliance, until the issuance of practical completion and project closure.
• Ensure the production of drawings, budgets and programs are delivered to the Project Owner at various stages of the project in conjunction with external designers and consultants.
• Support the on-going facilities management, construction, relocation, and renewal projects of retained assets.
• Oversea repairing or rectifying defect, emergency and preventive maintenance tasks performed by external parties.
• Ensure asset tagging is actioned in the Project development phase before handing over to the FM team to ensure an up-to-date database of assets acquired, maintained, and disposed.
• Assess and manage contract and legal matters in conjunction with both in house or external legal advisors and quantity surveyors.
• Work closely with external consultants and designers to ensure timely and cost effective implementation of various projects.
• Assist in / manage other projects in the markets assigned to the role where required.

• Degree in Engineering, Architectural, Interior Design, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of versatile experience in project management of various types of F&B establishments, including high quality facades and interiors
• At least 5 years managerial experience in project management
• Prior experience in working remotely in Asia Pacific locations is advantageous
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, both independently and with external project consultants.
• Technically competent with various software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Photoshop. Familiar with project management software is preferably.
• Good command of written and verbal English
