Location: Karachi
Experience:15+ years in the industry, with 10+ years in project management
Qualification:Master Mariner/Deck Officer Class 1 CoC or Marine Engineer Class 1 CoC from an STCW White List Country

Position Overview:As the Head of SPM, you will assume a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the company's Offshore Single Point Mooring (SPM) Terminal operations. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth functioning of terminal operations and projects, with a strong focus on safety, financial viability, and service delivery. This role demands exceptional leadership skills, deep industry knowledge, and extensive experience in maritime management and project management.
Responsibilities:
Lead, direct, and manage project teams for all SPM Terminal projects, including maintenance, upgrades, and expansions.
Develop project scopes and specifications, ensuring alignment with technical standards, regulatory requirements, and project objectives.
Control the budget for operational and project costs, ensuring effective cost management and allocation of resources.
Introduce operational best practices while ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Accountable for the safety, financial viability, and service delivery of the SPM Terminal, monitoring and tracking all operational activities.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the SPM Terminal operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.
Experience and Education:
Overall industry work experience of 15 years or more.
International Oil & Gas Company experience preferred.
At least 5 years seagoing experience on Oil Tankers as a Senior Officer (Master & Chief Officer combined OR Chief Engineer). Command experience on Oil Tankers is desirable.
Marine management or operational experience in a dynamic SPM Terminal, Oil Terminal, or Port Operational environment for a minimum of 5 years.
Minimum 10 years direct project management experience managing SPM, FPSO, or Offshore Fixed Platform Maintenance resources and projects. Experience with floating structures such as SPM Buoys, FPSO's, or Offshore Fixed Platform Maintenance including EPC experience is highly desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
