Business Address: TOWNLINE RD, ABBOTSFORD, BC, V2T 5M2 Work Location: Various work locations across Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner (NOC 65310) Terms of Employment: 30-40 hour per week, Full-time / Permanent Start Date: As Soon As Possible Wage: $19.00 - 21.00 per hour (Depending on experience) No of Positions: 3 Job Duties: Sweep, mop, wash, wax, re-seal, refurbish and polish floors. Dust furniture, vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies. Pick up debris, empty garbage bin, sort trash and rubble. Clean, disinfect and polish various rooms in post-construction sites, residential and/or commercial buildings. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances. Move items such as furniture and other equipment. Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, to keep the cleanliness. Report and store lost and found items. Perform other duties as needed, as per the job requirement. SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Education: No formal education is required. Experience: There is no formal experience required, successful candidates will be trained. Experience in cleaning or related field would be considered an asset. Language: No formal language requirement. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in dust, confined spaces, as well as high height levels. Ability to work long hours with repetitive tasks. Ability to handle heavy workloads, in which can be physically demanding. Ability to bend, crouch, stand and kneel for long extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20-30 lbs. Personal Suitability: Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills, dependability, team player, Flexibility.
