Carry out the activities andfollow tool box talks and encourage fellow workers in line theHazard control Measures identified in HIRA (Hazard Identificationand Risk Assessment). Carry out preventive andskilled maintenance activities, repair and testing of equipment.Participate in the assigned plant shutdownactivities and ensure timely completion of job activities.Provide work direction and instruction to thecontractor craftsman.Verify completedmaintenance activities and ensure that the job is performed as perrequirement and complete the maintenance activity sheet to achieveworkmanship excellence in performance of maintenanceactivities.Carry out visual inspection andexercise vigilance to identify any developing problem in the areaassigned and report any problems to relevantsupervisorProvide effective solutions andtroubleshooting to carry out the critical and complex repairs andto assess the site conditions to ensure that all company HSEprecautions are followed.Ensure that pipingrepair and replacement activities are carried out in a professionalmanner by applying good workman ship to avoidrework.Able to process work orders, planman-hours, material requirements, and time sheets in Computerizedsystem.Maintain the records of materialreceipt, Technical Data sheets, Application procedures, andmaintain Material Inventory register for all Stock items and directpurchase items. Examine faulty equipment toobtains necessary tools and spare parts and proceeds to worksite tocarry out the job.Test, calibrate and repairelectronic/electrical/pneumatic instruments ensuring accuracy ofoperation and recording independently, within a system or circuit,and in synchronization with others. Carryoutthe regular routine inspection of all instruments in assigned areato achieve high plant availability / performance.Checks fitting work carried out by contractedpersonnel to ensure conformity to Operationalstandards.
