Wood is currently recruiting for aPMC Senior Planning Engineer with extensive experience in the oiland Gas industry for ADNOC Offshore client to be based in AbuDhabi.Reportingto the Project Controls Lead / Project Lead the candidate willassume sole responsibility for Project Planning and Scheduling /Project Controls of Engineering and construction ProjectsResponsible for the development andmaintenance of and reporting against detailed project plansTo ensure that the overall project isdelivered to meet clients schedule requirements / prioritiesTo ensure that all work is performed withoutcompromise to quality and in line with the companys proceduresTo maintain high standard of safety at alltimes Develop a suitable Work BreakdownStructure covering the project requirements / scope of worksDevelop baseline update and maintain detailedproject schedules for various phases of project execution includingbut not limited to design development (main responsibility)construction precommissioning and startupCoordinate with client representatives teammembers contractors subcontractors while developing projectschedules to take into account all project requirementsOrganise workshops to present and reviewproject schedules with all the concerned stakeholders to take theirbuyin before baselining the schedules Developand agree with the client progress measurement and reportingrequirements Review schedules prepared by theContractors / Subcontractors (wherever required) to confirmalignment with the overall master planPeriodically update the schedule with progressattained during the period Coordinate withteam member / contractors / subcontractors to prepare scheduleforecasts Identify / highlight any emergingissues pertaining to schedule slippages and work with ProjectManager / team to develop recovery plansAnalyse impact of proposed changes to projectscope / requirements and rebaseline the schedules to incorporateapproved changes Prepare weekly fortnightlyand monthly progress reports / progress curves and distribute themto the concerned stakeholders Attend progressreview meetings with Project Manager / client / contractorsVerify physical progress as claimed bycontractor / subcontractors Coordinate withthe Procurement / Supply Chain Manager regarding procurement statusof Long Lead Equipment / Bulks and update the schedules accordinglyProvide forecasts for project completion withanticipated manhours to facilitate the cost forecastingprocessMinimumof 15 years relevant experience in the oil and gas industryBachelor degree in engineeringKnowledge of engineering procurement andconstruction planning processes planning tools project managementtechniques Knowledge of CTR and progressmeasurement processes Experience of workingwith multinational and multicultural project teams is stronglypreferred Experience in EPC Projects ADNOCProjects Familiar with ADNOC Standards andprocedures Previous experience in Sulphurhandling projects is preferrable Previous PMCexperience ispreferrableWood is a global leader in consulting and engineering helping tounlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materialsmarkets.
