Smart Contract (Blockchain)Engineer (Contract ToPermanent)3RD UNIT is an UAEbasedearly stage entertainment fintech company.We arebuilding a digital ecosystem a launchpad for creators andmarketplace for creative digital assets enabling and democratizingaccess to investment in early stage entertainment intellectualproperty (IP).We see an immense opportunity toscout nurture and finance nascent creative IPs tailoring them fromthe ground up to seamlessly integrate into film gaming andlocationbased entertainment franchises right at the preproductionstage.We need the right talentto join us to buildit.This is a product development and engineeringrole focused on developing our blockchainbased smart contractsecosystem and adjasent protocol integrations. You will work closelywith the wider technical and product team to analyze theopportunities and risks of possible technical solutions. This is anopportunity to build deep domain knowledge in operationalizing andtokenizing creative intellectual property assets with a high degreeof autonomy and agency.Rolerequirements:experiencedesigning developing and deploying blockchainbased solutions andNFT integrations over a complete productlifecyclefocus on securityscalability and efficiency of our blockchain and NFTinfrastructureability tocollaborate with crossfunctional peers to understand business needsand translate them into technicalsolutions.min. 23 years ofexperience designing and programming smartcontractsproficiency inprogramming languages such as C Rust GolangSolidityOffer:compensationrelevantto background andexperience (industry standards apply according tobenchmark of VCbackedearly stage companies with early hire equitycompensation)remotefirstwith option to sponsor employment visa and relocation stipend tothe UAEaccess to highgrowth venture opportunity with significanttalent density andambitionThe rolerequirements are schematic (by design) as we want to leave an opendoor for unconventional applicants.Allapplicationsare reviewed directly by the foundingteam.Expected start date / availability fromSeptember 2024 (negotiable).
