Bachelor's degree in FireProtection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Master's degree preferred.10-15years' experience in Fire Protection Engineering,preferably within the Middle East Region.Eng.preferred although not essential.Experiencedin both design and constructionsupervision.Lead the technical development andproduction of fire protection designs in accordance with regionaland international code requirements.Strongtechnical, communication, and presentation skills with clients,local authorities, consultants, contractors, and internal/externalmultidisciplinary project teams, and be prepared to adjust and copein different environments with enthusiasm.Ableto undertake detailed fire protection compliance reviews based onlocal and international standards.CertifiedFire Protection Specialist (CFPS) is preferred although notessential.Certified Water-Based SystemsProfessional (CWBSP) preferred although notessential.Member of NFPA preferred althoughnot essential.Experience in local andinternational fire codes.NFPA 10, 11, 13, 14,15, 17A, 20, 22, 24, 25, 750, 2001UAE Fire andLife Safety Code of Practice 2018Qatar FireSafety Standards.KSA Fire Code801.Experience in Hydraulic Calculation andproficiency in the use of HASS or Elitesoft.Experienced user of Microsoft Office isessential.Proficient in the use of Navisworks,and BIM 360.Proficient in the use of AutodeskCAD, and Revit although notessential.
