Job details
Ensure all residential studentscheck in before curfew and address any needs required by thestudents at night.Work with Complex Managers,Residential Hall Coordinators, Resource officers, ResidentAssistants and other units on campus to create a strong communityin the complex.Provide a friendly environmentfor the residents.Ensure the safety andwell-being of our students during the nighthours.Oversee the safety and security ofresident students with the Residential Life Resource Officers andRHCs.Address potential cases of students notreporting to the halls after curfew.Follow-upon hall maintenance, and other issues reported to OPD/IT/Facilitiesat night.Monitor visitors and provide accessonly to those allowed under departmentpolicy.Manage student conduct issues as notedin the residential policies and student handbook, working with theComplex Manager to document inappropriatebehavior.Play an active role in move in andmove out procedures which includes assignments, charges, transfersand cancellation.Welcome students and handlecheck-in, meet and greet, and provide support to the SRLDstaff.Handle administrative requests andcorrespondence such as curfew management, access cards and maintainstudent records using housing managementsystem.Ensure students understand the rules,regulations, facilities and services to students through directcommunication and flyers/posters.Referstudents when necessary to the proper resource on campus,university health care, student counseling, academic supportcenter, etc.Assist in fire drills supervisionand any other request from security and emergencymanagement.
