Job Ref: SR1035693DubBDM Location: DubaiDubai United Arab Emirates Postcode: 25960 Type of contract: Permanent Salary: Competitive Posted Date: Wednesday May 1 2024 Closing Date: Wednesday May 29 2024 This is a new Business Development Executive role that ispart of the sales team based in our Dubai office that isresponsible for selling to Government organisations across theMiddle East region with a major focus on KSA and UAE.You will be responsible for targeting new and existingGovernment organisations across your territory. You will be ahighly selfmotivated sales professional preferably with a proventrack record for selling in the public sector arena and/or haveexperience in consultative B2B sales. Youll have the tenacity drivecommercial awareness and persuasiveness to find the right contactunderstand the clients issues and match and apply the benefits inyour solution. You will often need to involve several stakeholdersboth internally in different locations and externally acrossmultiple departments of the target organisations. So strongnetworking and organisational skills as well as an understanding ofGovernment purchasing dynamics is important. Youll have quicklearning attributes and ability to demonstrate strong sales processand strategies. This role is office based with travel as requiredto meet clients across your market. Key responsibilities: Generate sales with new clients in your designatedterritory Generatesales with existing clients by renewing their current subscriptionsand by being a true partner to your clients identifying newopportunities through relationship development Identify key sponsors influencersand decision makers at target institutions and ensure that youunderstand their roles and objectives and that they understand thebenefits and applications of using GlobalDatas data and marketresearch solutions Create a sales plan on how to reach sales targets andensure implementation of the plan Research a strong prospect list Take ownership of your personal sales targetsand own forecasting and account planning on amonthly/quarterly/annual basis Develop and train your new clients so they know how touse their online database to ensure renewal and create upsellopportunities Revenue: Manage theentire sales process involved with selling webbased planning toolsand custom research solutions to new clients (e.g. prospectingterritory management meeting scheduling product demonstrationsmultistakeholder business case development objection handlingcontract negotiation etc.). Demonstrate effectiveness byconsistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly quarterly and yearlyrevenue targets. Forecasting: Use consultativesales skills and effective time management/organizational skills todevelop accurate monthly forecasts. Analyze quantitative (e.g.conversion rates sales cycles average price points etc.) andqualitative (e.g. objections competitive strategies winningapplications etc.) market feedback to inform adjustments thatensure on or above target performance.Development: Take ownership of your performance andpersonal development by linking it to your goals identifyingobstacles and developing strategies to overcome them. Increaseproductivity by actively leveraging GlobalDatas training programssupportive managers and diverse set of smart and interestingcolleagues.
