Job details
ResponsibilitiesUndergeneral supervision, perform mechanical assembly of moderatecomplexity in accordance with establishedprocedures.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:(not listed in any particular order)Know and understandWeatherford's Enterprise Excellence Process and the QualityPolicy and comply with all requirements of the Quality SystemsManual, Operating and Technical Procedures and WorkplaceInstructions.Assemble and test completionsequipment per engineered drawings or as instructed byothers.Uses hand tools, power tools, andmeasuring devices such as tapes, gauges, calipers,micrometerInspect completed components foraccuracy and functionality.Perform hydrostatictest on components as necessary.MaterialhandlingProperly maintain company suppliedtooling and maintain an orderly work areaAidin developing of new procedures and improving existingprocedures.Use the PIRFSystem.Must understand and comply with allsafety rules and company policies ofWeatherford.Work assignments carried out tothe highest quality level.Perform variousother duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within thephysical constraints of the job.Qualifications2-3 yearsexperienceGood verbal communicationskills.Basic computerskillsAbility to read and comprehend simpleinstructions, short correspondence, and memos inEnglish.Ability to read assembly layouts andmanufacturing prints.Ability to read ameasuring tape, micrometer andcalipers.Ability to safely operate materialhandling devices (overhead cranes,forklifts).Ability to perform all duties ofAssembler Cs.General knowledge of assemblyprocedures.Ability to be an effective teammember.
