Actively manages and escalates risk andcustomer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role tomanagement.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze, design, program, test, anddeploy new user stories and features with high quality (security,reliability, operations) to productionTends toAssociate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as wellas work related tasks, directs the work of Senior AssociateApplication Engineers, and helps them continue togrowAchieves team commitments (and influenceothers to do the same) by using informal leadership &highly developed communication skillsHas anoversight on design decisions and guides team to achieve keyresults for products assigned tothemRemediates issues using engineeringprinciples and creates proactive design solutions for potentialfailuresContributes to and leads technologycommunities at DiscoverMinimumQualificationsAta minimum, here's what we need fromyou:Bachelors - ComputerScience or related3+ Years -Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, orrelatedInternal applicantsonly: technical proficiency rating of competent onthe Dreyfus engineeringscaleQualificationsBonusPoints If You Have:Engineering experience with Java onSpring BootEngineering experience withReactDesign and redesign of API's,Microservices, applications andsystems.Deployment of applications to thecloudTesting, CI/CD, ReleaseManagementExcellent documentationsskills.Experience working in an AgileEnvironment INT
