Job Brief:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.

Job Responsibilities:

Work on the most exciting legal issues proactively assess legal risks and advise on real estate products offered by the RMC.

Negotiate, draft, and advise on a variety of commercial agreements including agreements to sell, IT services agreements, project sales agreements, joint venture agreements, MOUs, lease agreements, expo agreements, consultancy agreements, digital marketing agreements, corporate resolutions and related documents and deeds.

Advise on due diligence of real estate projects undertaken by the RMC.

Manage legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

Monitor proposed and existing legislation and other changes in the legal environment or industry practice affecting the organization and advise senior management accordingly.

Evaluate and advise appropriate legal courses of action to meet the needs of the company and its business.

Communicate and negotiate with external parties if required.

Job Requirements:

L.L.B. (Hons.), preference shall be given to candidates who have done the Legal Practice Course or LLM.

2+ years of experience in transaction/corporate law including the real estate sector.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Track record of drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements coupled with outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Competent in legal research and drafting specially REIT Regulations 2022.#J-18808-Ljbffr
