About Our Client Our client is a leading multinational technology company headquartered in Amsterdam, operating within the industry. In response to evolving global tax regulations and the expansion of their product offerings, they seek a skilled Tax Manager to join their team on a temporary basis for a 12-month assignment.As they navigate through the complexities of VAT/GST compliance and system implementations, they require a seasoned professional with expertise in tax law, particularly in indirect taxation, and experience working within a big 4 or international environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across various teams. Job Description As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:Leading and supporting system-related projects, including SAP implementation and other platforms, to ensure compliance with VAT/GST regulations.Staying updated on global tax developments and ensuring adherence to local tax rules and regulations.Defining tax requirements for system implementation, particularly focusing on VAT compliance and data reporting purposes.Providing support with the impact of system implementations on tax accounting and reporting processes.Assisting with Masterdata re-design for tax purposes and CESOP implementation to ensure accurate translation and implementation of tax requirements. The Successful ApplicantImmediate availability preferred.Able to commit to a 12-month temporary assignment.Experience with system implementation, particularly in SAP S4/Hana.Strong communication skills in English.Experience with systems such as VIM, Blackline, Concur. What's on OfferStart Date: Immediate start upon selection.Hours: Full-time position.Length of Assignment: 12 months (with possible extension based on business needs).Location: On-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands.Other: The role may require occasional remote work, but primarily on-site presence is expected.
