Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial Senior Environmental Specialist to join the Environmental and Sustainability team in Abu Dhabi, UAE .Our Environmental & Sustainability (E&S) Group works throughout the world to provide our clients with expertise in Environmental Assessment & Management, Due Diligence, Sustainable Development Design, Water Resources, Climate Change and Social Impact Management.
As The Successful Candidate, You Will
Take a leadership role in the delivery of high-quality technical services related to Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), environmental modelling and monitoring assignments, due diligence, reporting and benchmarking and corporate Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS).
Take a leadership role in driving Sustainability/ESG within our business and on behalf of our clients, working in close collaboration with our global team(s).
Provide leadership in the planning and implementation of environmental, sustainability and social impact monitoring programs, ensuring that these are carried out in accordance with established quality and safety protocols.
Collaborate with and support our senior consultants and engineers across the business.
Working in close collaboration with our regional engineering team and global E&S Group leads, identify and secure environmental opportunities that will support tangible growth within the region.
Travel within UAE, the Middle East and other regions as necessary.
You Bring To The Role
A Bachelor or Masters' degree in environmental sciences, environmental & sustainability management, environmental engineering, or a related discipline.
12+ years of work experience in the field of environment and sustainability.
A well-informed understanding of global trends and perspectives on issues relating to business's economic, social, and environmental impacts.
A dynamic approach to business development and the establishment (and nurturing) of client relationships. A demonstrable track record in delivering growth within the Middle East region will be an advantage.
A strong communicator and collaborator that enjoys working as an integral part of a team.
Chartered membership of a professional body (IEMA, CIWEM, CIEEM or equivalent) will be an advantage.
Experience working on industrial or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
