Sr. Technical Product Owner

The Technical Product Owner will play a pivotal role in executing the product strategy for our Marketing Tech functions. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders & engineering to ensure our products meet market needs and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be adept at building and managing detailed backlogs of user stories and ensuring their successful execution.Responsibilities: • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain the product roadmap for secondary marketing, pricing, and revenue management solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. • Backlog Management: Create, maintain, and prioritize a detailed product backlog. Write clear, concise user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, ensuring the development team fully understands the requirements. • Technical Leadership: Serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements. Ensure that technical solutions align with business objectives and customer needs. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and manage expectations. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries. • Execution & Delivery: Oversee the execution of the product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and customer needs. Use insights to inform product development and positioning. • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze product performance, using data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement. • Customer Focus: Champion the voice of the customer, ensuring product decisions are aligned with user needs and enhance customer satisfaction. Core Competencies: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical product management or a related role within the mortgage lending or financial services industry. • Strong understanding of secondary marketing, pricing, and revenue management functions in mortgage lending. Proficiency in agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and data analysis. • Strong understanding of Marketing Tech/Digital Experience development (Postbacks, Website Development, Website Compliance, Support needs) • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
