Group Asset Manager

Job Description:Subject Matter Expert on our systems and processes for asset accounting (including software development) in our global S/4HANA system and coordinator/advisor of local accounting processesCoordinator and liaison between FP&A and Tech functions to ensure that accounting reflects commercial reality and supports quality internal reporting to project leads and tech leadershipManager of accounting records and controls to ensure that asset accounting is properly documented and carried out in compliance with policy and IFRSCounterpart for all inquiries and audits into assets, including in particular the external audits under IFRSFirst port of call for any internal queries/discussions around capex policy and application to technology projectsKey Stakeholders:Group Financial Controller, who is ultimate owner of all accountingTechnology teams, including CTO and a number of project managersTechnology Finance Business Partner (in FP&A), to ensure quality of reporting and liaison with technology teamsExternal auditorsEntity and regional accountants and controllersYour Profile:Qualified accountant with experience in managing accounting processes in larger organisationsExperience with S/4HANA would be highly desirable and in particular project or asset-based activitiesExperience of designing, implementing and operating controls and documentation to a high standard in large organisations across multiple teamsExperience of accounting for technology (and IAS 38 in particular) would be highly desirableAbility to challenge and apply critical thinking, including evidence of being able to respond to and implement change effectivelyAbility to manage large amounts of data and make sense of themFluency in English PRB
