Assistant Professor - Data Visualisation

The Role:We invite applications for the role of Assistant Professor in Data Visualisation. This position is integral to the development and delivery of our cutting-edge curriculum, aimed at equipping students with the skills to transform complex data into engaging and actionable visual narratives. You will play a key role in guiding the next generation of designers who will drive innovation in data visualisation.Key Responsibilities:Teaching and Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver dynamic lectures, workshops, and seminars on Data Visualisation, emphasizing both design principles and statistical methodologies. Continuously update course content to reflect the latest advancements in the field.Student Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their academic growth and professional development. Encourage critical thinking and creativity in solving data visualisation challenges.Research and Publication: Conduct and publish high-quality research in the field of Data Visualisation. Engage with the academic community through conferences and collaborative projects.Industry Engagement: Cultivate relationships with industry leaders to enhance the practical relevance of our program. Facilitate student internships, live projects, and industry collaborations.Program Promotion: Actively contribute to the promotion and growth of the M.Des. program.
