You will guarantee that all customer queries are resolved well, escalated in time, and feedback is continuously shared with the team. What you'll doInstall, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment as per job cardsFollow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by Franchisee/Operations Manager when working at customer premisesIdentify maintenance risks on equipmentWork overtime when required to do so by managementProvide technical direction and on-the-job trainingKeep daily logs and records of all maintenance functions as required by managementEnsure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards, and with Occupational Health and Safety ActAssist with customer queriesEnsure that all tools and equipment are in good working order and are used properlyConduct thorough site clean up on completion of work at customer siteImplement proper preparation and stock management prior to commencing work on siteComply with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirementsExemplify professional conduct in the correct manner and in accordance with the standards detailed in the operations manualProvide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property What you'll needGrade 12 qualification3+ years of experience as an HVAC technicianRelevant trade test (beneficial)Willingness to continue education in the HVAC fieldA valid driving and gas licenseAn understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heatingKnowledge of service, product, and installation methodsCapacity to use discretion when examining installation instructionsExcellent verbal communication skillsGood customer liaison and service skillsLiteracy and numeracy skillsPersonal integrity, empathy, and a supreme, mature sense of confidentiality (required)Listening skillsAttention to detailTo be punctual and presentable at all timesComplaint and conflict resolution skills Additional SkillsSolving problems through root cause analysis to provide a permanent solutionConversant with HVAC products, tools, and installation methodsThe ability to work with minimal supervision and a high sense of responsibilityTo be methodical, thorough, and well plannedHave a positive and creative outlook on each projectMust be resourceful and innovative in overcoming challengesBe physically fit and able to work at heights APPLY HERE: https://crayon.jobs/jobs/south-africa/bellville/hvac-installation-and-repair-technician/1033
