Savoir Flair is looking for a talented and passionate Fashion and Beauty Editor to join our digital team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion and beauty, a keen eye for emerging trends, and a passion for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our growing audience.
Responsibilities:
Ideate, pitch, and write high-quality, engaging fashion and beauty content for Savoir Flair's digital and social platforms.
Monitor and analyze industry trends, audience behaviors, and social media insights to inform the development of timely and relevant content.
Craft original, performance-minded social media content for TikTok and Reels from start to finish.
Pitch content weekly for the fashion and beauty categories.
Source imagery for your articles.
Collaborate with the Editorial team and leadership on a daily basis to plan and execute the day's content.
Contribute to the ideation of editorial shoots, and assist the Editorial Director on set.
Take ownership of the fashion and beauty categories, with a 360-approach to performance.
Take ownership of the SF Originals series (7AM WithandFashion Fractions) that fall under your remit as Fashion and Beauty Editor.
Requirements:
A minimum of three years of editorial experience, with a focus on fashion and beauty content creation for either digital or print publications.
Strong knowledge of the fashion and beauty industries, including designers, trends, products, and key events.
Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Experience in digital content strategy, including SEO, analytics, and social media.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Proficiency in content management systems, Google Workspace, CapCut, and Canva.
Ability to attend industry events and travel as required.
Superior writing and self-editing skills.
Experience sourcing imagery.
