Description:
The IT Officer will manage area-specific technology resources and actively participate with technology governance committees and matrixed IT support aligned with their area(s). Facilitates area alignment with institutional strategic initiatives and IT policy.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and maintain an IT strategic plan, participate in required Executive Operations Committees
Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual IT expense and operational budgets.
Develop and maintain IT related documentation for hardware and software systems, IT related policies and procedures, and technology related workflow processes.
Ensures helpdesk support tickets are addressed as per incident management guidelines.
Enhancing the Electronic Health Records (EHR), and Implementation of standards like accreditation like CARF.
Implementation of global Standards in the Processes and Procedures to meet the Government Health Authority requirements and to standardize the practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar.
Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
5 years proven experience as an IT Supervisor or relevant position with at least 2 years within the UAE.
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
