Hiring Material Inspector (Electrical & Instrumentation) for short term contract, Qatar
**Job Description for Material Inspector - E&I**
**Minimum Qualification/Experience**
**Education**:
Min Qualification requirement is 2 years technical training certificate (ITI) after school or equivalent in Instrumentation or Electrical or Electronics certificate course with 8 years' experience in Petrochemical / Oil / Gas industries. 3 Years diploma in relevant engineering is preferred.
- Ex competency Certification as per IEC 60079 part 14 and 17 listed below with 2 years'
Ex04 - Inspection &Maintenance of Ex 'I' System
**Experience**:
6-year hands-on experience as Material Inspector, related Electrical and Instruments in oil, gas, petrochemical or fertilizer which include
- Knowledge of field instruments used in Petrochem, Oil, gas industries.
- Interpersonal skills to work in close coordination with Client Supervisors/Engineers.
- Ex competency Certification
- Liaison with planning, services and production departments.
- Good safety leader. Fully conversant with Safe working practices.
- Knowledge of gas, oil and utilities plant processes.
- Communication skills.
- Computer skills
- MS Office, MS Project
- SAP R3 skills
- Gulf experience preferable (not mandatory)
- Ensure high level of materials integrity, which entails; technical support in maintaining material/service masters and bill of materials, technical evaluations, and materials inspection.
- Pro-active inspection of Shutdown & turnaround materials.
- Monitor and report progress of material status on shutdown and turnarounds.
