Hardware Test Engineer

Iskraemeco India Pvt Ltd. at Mysore is looking for a Hardware Test Engineer.A skilled Hardware Test Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in smart energy meter testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electronics product testing, with the ability to troubleshoot hardware issues and support new product development.Total Years of Experience-3-7 YrsJob Location-MysoreEducational Qualification-B.E./BTech/Diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, or Tele-communication.Job Type- Permanent (WFO)Primary Responsibilities:1. Perform product and system testing with a focus on electronic designs within mechanical enclosures. Experience with electricity energy meters is a plus.2. Troubleshoot hardware issues using both software and hardware tools.3. Handle test equipment proficiently and support new products by investigating and resolving issues with tools such as Oscilloscopes, Analysers, DMM, etc.4. Conduct testing of SMPS power supplies, DC-DC converters, voltage booster, Embedded hardware designs and communication module.5. Capture schematics using Altium (preferred) and have knowledge of circuit layout in Altium (desirable).6. Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and possess knowledge of electronic product certification standards.7. Apply strong engineering principles to electronic component and board designs.8. Understand PCB fabrication and assembly processes thoroughly.9. Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating good execution skills and a strong interest in the field.Mandatory Skills Required:1. Familiarity with product/system testing of electronic designs.2. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware issues.3. Experience with test equipment and tools such as Oscilloscopes, analysers, DMM.4. Knowledge of SMPS power supplies, DC-DC converters, voltage booster, Embedded hardware designs and communication module.5. Schematic capture and circuit layout experience in Altium.6. Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance and electronic product certification standards.7.
