Factory Automation & Industry 4.0 Specialist

Responsibilities:Develop and implement strategies for the integration of Industry 4.0 technologies into our manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess automation needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and define project objectives.Lead the design, development, and deployment of automated systems, including robotics, IoT devices, machine learning algorithms, and data analytics platforms.Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the potential impact of automation solutions on productivity, quality, and safety.Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of automation initiatives and identify areas for further optimization.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in factory automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing to recommend innovative solutions and maintain our competitive edge.Collaborate with external partners, vendors, to leverage expertise and resources for advancing our automation capabilities.Qualifications and Experience :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science with specialization in Industry 4.0Total 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing organization with proven experience of 5+ years in designing, implementing, and managing automation projects in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on Industry 4.0 technologies.In-depth knowledge of automation systems, including SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC-UA, Modbus, Profibus, ControlNet, DeviceNet).Should have experience in implementing end-to-end material traceability system.Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms for predictive maintenance, quality control, and production optimization.Hands-on experience with robotic systems, including robotic arm programming, vision systems, and motion control techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
