Tower Lead - General LedgerThe primary responsibility will be overseeing the year-end close, quarter-end close, co-ordination with auditors on statutory as well as management accounts, intercompany reconciliations and related reporting requirement for APAC, ME, & Eastern European Countries entities. Key responsibilitiesPrepare and review annual financials as per financial reporting standards and ensure reporting as pe prescribed accounting standards within due timelinesCoordination with statutory auditorsLiaise and agree Board meeting dates, audit sign-off dates and provide detailed checklist to finance/other teamsDrive quality month-end accounting closure process with agreed timelinesEnsure all the sub-functions of finance are engaged collaboratively to ensure accounts are maintained current and clean.Preparation and reporting of annual financials as per IFRS to central entities and interacting with Group's finance controllers for consolidation purposesEnsure timely compliances of applicable statutesIdentify areas for process improvements/automations and implementationTimely reconciliation of intercompany balances and sign offsSkills and attributes for successDeep understanding of IndAS, IGAAP and IFRS including new announcementsAbility to understand and work with complex structures and business modelsHigh accuracy and on time deliverySuccinct and structured oral and written communications skillsAn eye for efficiency and process improvementsPlanning and team management skills and ability to prioritize the workloadInterpersonal skillsAttention to details and sense of ownershipAbility to stretch in the busy period for high quality and on time deliveryTo qualify for the roleChartered Accountant with 14-16 years of experienceStrong General ledger accounting skillsPractical knowledge of IndAS, IGAAP and IFRS requiredUnderstanding of the Accounting and MIS SystemsWorking knowledge of SAPExpertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint and handling large amount of data sets and tasks PRB
