Designation : General Manager- PurchaseLocation : Bandra (W)Budget : Upto 25.00LPAWorking : 6 DaysJob Description :- General Manager is able to provide management and direction for allowing procurement functions including purchasing, expediting, supplier data control, and supplier quality.Develop and manage new supplier relationships, including negotiating and managing procurement contacts, and enforce legal agreements if required.Develop and manage new supplier relationships, including negotiating and managing procurement contacts, and enforce legal agreements if required.Will be responsible for purchase of Services - Engineering & Administrative Services, including non-engineering procurement Maintain procurement plans and provide an enhanced level of service to customers.Handling and finalizing all major contracts for projects and project related material with proper project tracking, costing and completion of report. Ensure that all work is carried out efficiently in accordance with the companies Purchasing Procedures, Delivery Process and Assurance PoliciesWorking on the most challenging timeManage and build relationships with suppliers, leveraging value out of existing contractual arrangements and skills and develop and manage suppliers capability and performance.Can explain the application of a variety of pricing models and incentivesPlacement of contractual arrangements and ongoing Contractor Management appropriate to the business needs.Continuous Improvement development and research of the supply chain through new information and improved awareness of the Market including an appreciation of where the company is positioned in that Market.Working with sites and industry in support of customer requirements and improvements such as lead times and prices that match the company's business needs, including participation in site meetings when and where requiredEffective supervision and monitoring of the business system to ensure reports, Enabling Contracts, & ordering information are accurate and monitored PRB
