Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Simmonds Street 5 To design, code, test, debug and correct programs in development environments. May also provide support and maintenance of computer systems. Works within a strict framework of programming standards under supervision of senior technical resources. Qualifications Minimum QualificationsType of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Information TechnologyExperience RequiredSoftware EngineeringTechnologyMinimum of 5 years experience intranslating business and functional requirements into technical specifications .Proficient in :Java: Spring Boot Framework,Proficiency in writing efficient database queries using Hibernate JPA for interacting with PostgreSQL databases . Experience with message broker systems, particularly RabbitMQ, for implementing asynchronous communication between microservices or components.Hands-on experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs for seamless interaction between frontend and backend systems. Familiarity with microservices architecture principles and practical experience in building and maintaining microservices-based applications. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI for automating the build, test, and deployment processes.
