Role: Internal Audit & Advisory service line (FMCG/CPG)Department: Audit & AssuranceEmployment Type: Full Time, PermanentLocation: Bengaluru Designation: Global IA and Advisory Manager Role Objective:Lead internal audit engagements for FMCG /CPG and Retail clients by developing risk-based annual audit plans and execution to evaluate process, risk implications, controls and share benchmarked yet tailored recommendations for sustainable growth.Contribute to the firm's Internal Audit Advisory practice by applying industry knowledge and professional expertise to deliver value-added services to clients.Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement Execution:Develop annual internal audit plans and detailed audit scope relevant for FMCG /CPG clients considering external and internal factors using a risk-connected and business-connected approach.Lead fieldwork for internal audit engagements including risk assessment, control evaluation, testing, and reporting.Supervise the audit team and review workpapers to ensure audits are conducted per professional standards.Continuously develop analytics platform based on both recurring scenarios and emerging trends in the business that can have a significant impact on control posture, costs and ability to grow revenues. Ideation to deployment and measurement of use cases. Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls across processes like procurement, operations, sales, marketing, distribution etc.Drive stakeholder alignment and create positive perceptions through suggesting practical action plans, value-delivery and the FMCG/CPG and Retail credentials.Prepare concise and impactful audit reports summarizing key findings, risks, value impact and tailored recommendations.Manage client expectations through effective communication, expertise and responsiveness.Planning and Quality:Establish audit methodology, templates and working program for FMCG, CPG and Retail audits.Keep updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices relevant to FMCG clients.Contribute to continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology and enablers like data analytics.Ensure compliance with professional standards and internal quality policies on engagements.Business Development:Participate in proposals and oral presentations for potential FMCG clients.Nurture relationships and identify opportunities to further services with existing clients.Support practice-building initiatives like thought leadership, trainings, capability buildout etc.People Management:Mentor, train and develop team members on the job.Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for professional growth.Assist in resource planning and staffing for engagements.Desired Candidate Profile:CA/CPA/CIA/MBA with at least 3 years of relevant experience in internal audit and consultingPrior experience leading internal audits for FMCG/CPG clients is a must. Strong hands-on audit experience of FMCG business processes like procurement, manufacturing, route to market, distribution, marketing etc.Expertise in risk assessment, controls evaluation and testing methodologiesHands-on experience with data analytics tools for internal audit. Knowledge of PowerBI, SQL and Alteryx would be an added advantageStrong hands-on experience with SAP for audits is a must.
