ROLE OVERVIEW: This role requires a strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration, along with proficiency in Linux server administration. It's important to stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in both Oracle databases and Linux systems to effectively manage and optimize their performance. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: · 3+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration · Strong database and operating system concepts.· Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software.· Familiarity with Oracle database management tools and utilities.· Basic understanding of SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.· Resolving User related queries in Production and Test Databases.· As per client request creating new users and assigning profiles in production databases.· User management and maintenance of all database users like granting a subset of privileges as per client's policy.· Logical backup using Export-Import and Data Pump utility as per user request.· Managing Database Structure, Storage Allocation, Table/Index segments, Rollback Segments, Undo Segments, and Constraints.· Experience in Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.· Experience in Patching and cloning of Oracle database.· Provide 24x7 operational & project support for Oracle Database Technology· Should be working over the weekends for scheduled maintenance activities. EXPERIENCE IDENTIFIED BELOW ARE ADDITIONAL POSITIVES: · Experience with Oracle Engineered Systems, i.e. Exadata, ODA, etc.· Experience with Virtualization, i.e. OLVM, etc.· Experience in Open Source database like MySQL or PostgreSQL· Experience with MS SQL Server· Knowledge/Experience with any cloud like Azure, OCI, or AWS· Experience with ServiceNow· Experience with LogicMonitor· Previous MSP experience PRB
