Job ResponsibilitiesTo be responsible for the scale up of process for API's developed in R&D in a cGMP setting. To be responsible for the technology transfer of new products at Unichem API/Intermediate mfg. sites. To have sound knowledge of engineering aspects about day-to-day operations of kilo lab/pilot plant/plant.To perform the Engg./technical calculations using the concepts of process engineering (kinetics, process design, material & energy balance; process equipment design; facility/utility and infrastructure design; process economics; process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation diagrams, specification of process and other equipment, process control and automation, etc.) for process scale up, establishment, capacity enhancement, cost reduction, process troubleshooting, various projects at API sites.To participate in the development of novel process technologies from concept to commercialization internally/externally with academic institutions or consultants etc.To manage process safety management, process safety testing and review at each stage of process development through R&D/Mfg./EHS.To be well versed in preparation of engineering documents about technology transfer.To ensure a safe lab environment and adherence of the group to EHS rules and programs.To be responsible for executing the responsibilities of the technical integrator when necessaryDesired SkillsShould be organized and detail orientedShould be proficient in computer skills (MS Office, data analysis, Engg. software's others)Should have good oral and written communication skillsShould be able to work independently and /or/ with the teamShould have the ability to conduct diverse scientific projects in an organized and productive manner.Should have sound knowledge of basic synthetic chemistry PRB
