Facilities Engineering Manager (MEP)

Responsibilities:1. Leadership and Team Management:Lead and manage the MEP engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to team members.2. Project Planning and Execution:Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems for new construction and renovation projects.Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.3. System Design and Integration:Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to develop comprehensive MEP designs.Integrate MEP systems seamlessly with IT infrastructure and other building systems.4. Quality Assurance:Establish and enforce quality control standards for MEP design and installation.Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.5. Budgeting and Cost Control:Develop and manage budgets for MEP projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.6. Vendor Management:Select and manage relationships with MEP contractors, suppliers, and consultants.Negotiate contracts and ensure vendors adhere to project timelines and specifications.7. Regulatory Compliance:Stay abreast of local, national, and international codes and regulations related to MEP systems.Ensure company projects comply with all relevant standards.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.Proven experience in MEP engineering management, preferably in the IT industry.Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is desirable.Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and project management skills.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other MEP design software.In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, codes, and standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to solve complex engineering problems and make informed decisions.
