Job Title: Senior Instructional DesignerLocation: Alliance University, AnekalPosition Type: Full-timeExperience: Minimum 6 years in instructional design or related fieldOverview: As a Senior Instructional Designer at Alliance University Online, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality, engaging learning experiences for our students and faculty. Leveraging your expertise in instructional design, you will collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to create innovative and effective educational materials. Explore different eLearning platforms and find a quality training program that aligns with our teaching and content standards. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in instructional design, e-learning development, and project management.Key Responsibilities:1. Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive, learner-centred curricula and instructional materials for a variety of delivery modalities, including online, blended, and tech enabled learning environments.2. Instructional Design: Apply instructional design principles, learning theories, and best practices to create engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student engagement and achievement.3. Content Development: Create multimedia learning materials, including presentations, videos, simulations, interactive exercises, assessments, and other educational resources. Utilize AI and LLM technologies to generate and personalize educational content based on learning objectives and learner preferences.4. Technology Integration: Utilize instructional technology tools and learning management systems (LMS) to enhance the delivery and accessibility of educational content.5. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, faculty members, and other stakeholders to gather content, review materials, and incorporate feedback into instructional design projects.6. Project Management: Manage instructional design projects from inception to completion, including needs analysis, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.7. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, accuracy, and effectiveness of instructional materials through rigorous review and evaluation processes.8. Professional Development: Stay current with emerging trends and best practices in instructional design, e-learning technologies, and educational research, and share knowledge with colleagues.9. Training and Support: Provide training and support to faculty and staff on instructional design principles, tools, and technologies.10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations, and standards related to instructional design, copyright, accessibility, and privacy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 6 years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or related field.Experience in EdTech or online education sector is highly preferred.Strong proficiency in instructional design principles, learning theories, and educational technology tools.Experience with course authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate and learning management systems such as Moodle are preferred.Demonstrated ability to design and develop engaging, interactive, and accessible learning materials for diverse learner populations.Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Experience in higher education or corporate training preferred.Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards for instructional design and e-learning development.
