Technical Specialist/Project Lead- Hardware Design

Methode Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: MEI) is seeking Engineers to be a part of Embedded hardware team to Design and develop embedded electronic products for Automotive applications.Minimum Relevant Experience: 8 - 20 YrsWork location: BangaloreEducation : BE/Diploma/Mtech/MSc in Electronics/ related engineeringSkills:Design, development, implementation, testing and validation of hardware for embedded system.Experience on analyzing requirements, developing detailed hardware specification, circuit design and analyze worst case conditions, circuit simulation, hardware realization, review PCB, prototyping coordination, testing of boards and design validation and manufacturing supportKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded electronic products for automotive application.Performing all aspects of design, development, implementation, testing and validation of hardware for embedded systemExperience on analyzing requirements, developing detailed hardware specification, circuit design and analyze worst case conditions, circuit simulation, hardware realization, review PCB, prototyping coordination, testing of boards and design validation.Develop, maintain engineering documents to meet quality system requirements.Participate in design review.Support or execute design validation process.Interaction with customers and other internal teams such as software and mechanical engineering for project management, product validation and manufacturing support.Experience in CAN, LIN, USB based system development and testing.Hardware development experience for automotive systems/Experience in RF design, high speed design.Experience in developing PCB layout and routing using PCB design tool (Added advantage)Excellent experience in development of electronic circuit for embedded systems and electronic control/switches.Experience with sound knowledge of various micro controllers, peripherals, SoCs.Hands on experience in using circuit design tools like ORCAD and Altium.Experience in system level design and development.Excellent problem solving ability with experience in debugging, diagnosing, complex circuit issues which involves both hardware and software.Experience in part failure analysisKnowledge on EMC and ESD validation, environmental validation.Experience structure approach to hardware development and exposure to APQP(added advantage)Good experience in using laboratory equipment such as Scopes, digital multi meter, logic analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer.
