Head of Internal Audit

Position Title - Head - Internal Audit, West Job Objective To lead the internal audit activities for organization including effective and efficient delivery of audit projects, special assignments, team management and stakeholder management. Accountabilities and responsibilitiesDevelopment of risk-based audit plans and engagement planningClose monitoring of audit engagement and guidance to execution teamsEnsure compliance with IA methodologyEnsure timeliness in delivery of auditsEnsure timely and effective closure of audit observationsEngage and manage the key stakeholders at senior and middle management levelContinuous interaction with the management to remain updated on business developments and industry updates. Getting buy-ins from the stakeholders for audit recommendationsPlay key role in conflict managementProvide active support to CIA for finalization of audits.Preparation of effective presentations for management committee and Assurance Review CommitteeAssess the training and development needs of the teams.Assess leadership potential and developmentJob enrichment factors identification for talent retentionRequired Years of Experience: 18 to 20 years, out of which at least 3 years should be in the internal audit leadership position in a large mining & manufacturing/infrastructural companies set up or at Director level in Big 4 accounting firms. Partner or Director from accounting firms other than Big 4 having similar experience can be considered. Required Qualification: Must have - CA or MBA with CIAAdded advantage - Certifications in data analytics, continuous auditing PRB
