Leasing Manager

The RSM US Offices in India (USI) supports RSM U.S. risk consulting, transaction advisory, technical accounting, financial consulting, technology and management consulting, tax and assurance engagement teams by providing access to highly skilled professionals for repeatable business processes over an extended business day. USI is a member of RSM International, the sixth largest global network of independent accounting, tax and consulting firms.RSM is looking for an Associate Manager / Manager to join our Technical Accounting Consulting (TAC). The Associate Manager / Manager will be an integral team member by assisting in our technical accounting consulting (TAC) practice. The Associate Manager / Manager will work with teams of technical accounting on different engagements in area of Lease Accounting, Accounting and Finance Optimization, Audit readiness global conversion accounting. This team assists to clients to better understand the implication of changes in accounting standards guidelines as well to assist them in area of complex accounting matters.Position Responsibilities Participate in multiple engagements within the Technical Accounting Consulting practice to provide technical accounting and financial or business advisory guidance to U.S. based public clientsExperience in leading project teams related to lease accounting / implementation and additionally one or more of the following areas: accounting and finance optimization, audit readiness of U.S based public clients.Review of financial statements as per US GAAP.Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of complex accounting concepts.Understand RSM's service lines and work as a team in providing an integrated service delivery.Collaborate directly with firm specialists/subject matter experts on complex accounting matters.Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverablesOpen to work on other solution sets considering business requirements.Qualification and Minimum Entry RequirementsChartered Accountant/CPA with 5-8 years of experience in lease accounting as per ASC 842/IFRS 16 with experience of bringing operational efficiencies and process optimization in that space.Candidate should have strong technical knowledge of US-GAAP/IFRS particularly with regard to lease accounting.Strong team management skillsAdvanced written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills to interpret the data and engagement requirements.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).Experience of working on diverse lease accounting tools (preferred) PRB
