JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:Transform Schools is seeking an experienced and passionate Subject Lead to mentor and manage a team of content creators and foster a pedagogical perspective among them. The incumbent will be responsible for establishing a clear vision for the subject area, developing exemplary content, and facilitating iterative review and refinement cycles with content creators to ensure the development of high-quality resources. This role will also involve collaboration with state programme teams to address content requirements and deliverables effectively.Key Job Responsibilities:(1) Mentor and manage a team of content creators, fostering a pedagogical perspective among them;(2) Establish a clear vision for the subject area and ensure alignment with organizational goals;(3) Develop exemplary content in collaboration with the team, ensuring it meets quality standards and adheres to curriculum requirements;(4) Facilitate iterative review and refinement cycles with content creators to enhance the quality and effectiveness of resources;(5) Collaborate with state programme teams to address content requirements and deliverables effectively;(6) Provide guidance and support to content creators, encouraging professional growth and development;(7) Stay updated with educational trends and best practices in the subject area to inform content development strategies;(8) Monitor and evaluate the impact of content initiatives, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:Qualifications and Experience:(1) Master's degree in specific subject (Science, English, and Mathematics), B. Ed or equivalent from reputed institute/ universities;(2) At least 4-5 years of work experience, preferably in content creation, teaching, or teacher training.Skills and Competencies:(1) Strong subject mastery and excellent content development skills;(2) Ability to manage teams and provide timely review and feedback to ensure consistency and quality of deliverables;(3) Collaborate effectively with others, both within their team and across different functions;(4) Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and collaboration skills;(5) Familiarity with educational programs, initiatives, and best practices in the education sector in India;(6) Ability to conduct research, analyze data and information to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in their field;(7) As new technologies and trends emerge, Subject Specialists must be able to adapt and adjust their skills and knowledge accordingly.6. COMPENSATION OFFERED:The gross compensation budgeted for the position is Rs. 7.5 lacs per annum. The offer made to the selected candidate shall be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and salary history.7.
