This includes ongoing training and development opportunities, access to a range of teaching resources, and a dedicated support team to answer any questions and provide guidance as needed The Job: Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 00:00-08:00 SASTMonday - Friday: 19:00-02:00 SASTMonday - Friday: 01:00-07:30 SASTSaturday & Sunday 11:00-19:00 SAST Saturday & Sunday 11:00-19:00Monday - Friday 19:00-02:00Monday - Friday 00:00-08:00Saturday - Wednesday 14:00-21:00 The shifts are booked two weeks in advance within your chosen working hours. Key Responsibilities: Guide adults in understanding the English language whilst delivering lessons based on a pre-set lesson plan.Manage your teaching schedule which is set 2 weeks in advance.Engage and encourage students positively in their English language learning journey.Provide students with constructive feedback during classes through the use of error correction techniques.Manage a classroom and provide feedback to students on their language proficiency. Minimum requirements: A matric/high school diploma is requiredA 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate is required3 months of teaching experience (formal or informal) is required3 months of English teaching experience is preferredGreat command of the English language (accent neutral)Computer literate and able to troubleshoot Technical Requirements: Internet Connection: A stable FIBRE internet connection - at a minimum of 25 Mbps upload and download speeds PC is connected via a LAN cable and not via a Wi-Fi connection PC specifications : Processor: Intel ® Core™ i5 Six Generation ProcessorQuad Core CPUMemory: 8GB RAM or greater Backup power system: Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS)/ Portable Power Staton with a battery life of up to 4-5 hours (2000VA / 300 WH).A separate mini power supply system to power your fibre router as an independent system. Other: Noise-cancelling headsets and HD web camera. Back-up headset is highly recommended Tidy, well-lit, and quiet teaching environment
