The role
Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Operations will have the overall responsibility for part and service team, and daily operation miscellaneous, for the company. He/she will also be responsible for management of the department staff as well as maintaining a work culture that aligns with the Company's core values and ensuring that quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
Job Description
· Responsible for development of supply and maintenance support of heavy equipment. Also proficient in implementation of strategies and monitoring inventory levels.
In liaison with dealers, lead the improvement and execution of maintenance and repair programs with a view to minimization of equipment downtime.
Implement and oversee the development of a centralized maintenance schedule and tracking system.
Develop and monitor KPIs for maintenance, and operations teams. Use data analytics to monitor performance, identify areas of improvement, and implement best practices in equipment management.
Develop and continuously evaluate the budget for maintenance, repair, costs, and acquisition of customers.
Establish effective communication channels and collaborations mechanisms with internal departments and external stakeholders to address various issues and ensure responsive service delivery.
Qualifications:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
· Extensive experience in managing heavy equipment sales and customer satisfaction, maintenance, repair, and operational strategies, in a leadership position.
· Proven ability to develop and implement effective maintenance programs and strategies that reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
· Excellent problem solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on operational excellence and efficiency.
· Hands on experience implementing continuous improvement processes.
· Knowledge of manufacturing performance indicators such as productivity, utilization, and efficiency
· Strong understanding of financial principles relating to sales and service.
· Proven leadership and team management skills, with a track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
· Willingness and ability to travel both nationally and internationally.
Note: Knowledge of Mandarin will be a definite advantage for this position.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $150,000.00-$170,000.00 per year
