In this role, you'll primarily focus on web scraping tasks while also collecting data manually from various sources using Excel. If you're eager to kickstart your career in data collection and analysis, this opportunity is perfect for you. Responsibilities: 1. Develop web scraping scripts using Python libraries like BeautifulSoup and Selenium to extract data from target websites.2. Collaborate with the team to identify data sources and requirements for web scraping projects.3. Automate data collection processes through scripting while ensuring data accuracy and reliability.4. Extract, clean, and organize data manually from diverse sources such as spreadsheets, PDFs, and websites into Excel.5. Perform quality checks on collected data to ensure integrity and consistency.6. Assist in analyzing scraped and manually collected data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.7. Prepare reports and summaries of collected data using Excel or other relevant tools.8. Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in web scraping and data collection techniques.9. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving data collection processes. Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2. Proficiency in Python programming language for web scraping and automation.3. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and XPath.4. Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.5. Strong familiarity with Excel for manual data collection and manipulation.6. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.8.
