His/Her ambition is to create out of innovative ideas new traditions.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service.Cook and serve dishes according to the restaurant's menu and set directions by the Executive Sous Chef and Executive Chef.Support other kitchen posts where requiredPreparation of mis en place for a la carte-, Room Service- and Bar menu.Check, storage and processing of existing and newly delivered food items.Support the Sous Chefs and Executive Chef with the food orders.Provide direction to the Kitchen helpers, including Commis, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants and Stewards.Clean and re-set their working area. Knowledge of products and awareness of related costs.Daily surveillance and warranty of immaculately cleanliness and hygiene in entire kitchen area.Wearing immaculate and clean Uniform according to corporate grooming standards.Compliance of respective policies & proceduresControl condition of all technical and general work equipmentParticipation on Culinary Team MeetingsResult oriented relationship with all Restaurant Outlets, Stewarding, Purchasing, Human Resources etc.Compliance of work securityCommitment to personal and specialized further education in relevant areas Recycle where-ever possible and enforce cost saving measures to staff.Communicate to their superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment on and other relevant information.Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.Job RequirementsMust speak English language Able to work in different shifts and/or split shiftMust have experience in making sushi Ability to read and comprehend written recipesAbility to multi task in working kitchen Ability to manage others and delegate work duties and responsibilities
