The below listed responsibilities and requirements is assessed during the interview stages and will further be confirmed with the relevant professional references that you currently are or have reported to in your previously two positions Core Purpose The purpose of the job is to produce technical deliverables and lead a team of Engineers and Technicians in the design, procurement & contract administration of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects. Key Performance Areas Technical Contract Documents. Design & documentation of projects involving the conveyance and treatment of both Water and Wastewater and associated technologies (e.g. water distribution, pump stations, pipelines and treatment plants) Work independently and review project technical deliverables Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO Good communication and people skills Preparation of reports and presentations Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD Job Requirements: Qualifications: Relevant Tertiary Qualification (B Eng or B Tech) PrEng / PrTechEng NQF 5 and/or 7 in labour intensive construction projects (an Advantage) Experience: 5 or more years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience a pre-requisite.
