Job Title: Sr. Engineer / Solution Architect: Cyber SecurityLocation: Gurgaon, HaryanaCompensation: As per industry standards.Industry: IT Services and IT ConsultingEmployment Type: Full-timeJob Summary: We are searching for a skilled and motivated solution engineer specializing on Information Security / Cyber Security to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support during the presales process, working closely with our sales team and customers to understand their security needs and recommend appropriate solutions. You will play a crucial role in identifying customer requirements, crafting tailored security solutions, designing service SOWs (scope of work) and delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients. You shall be responsible to ensure that these solutions are implemented in line with design, capacity and scope of work committed to the customer, and with utmost levels of service quality, and professionalism. Key Responsibilities:Technical Consultation:Collaborate with sales team and customers to understand their security challenges, requirements, and objectives.Provide technical expertise and guidance on security solutions, architectures, and best practices.Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) exercises to showcase the capabilities of our security offerings.Solution Design and Proposal Development:Design customized security solutions tailored to meet the specific needs and objectives of each customer.Develop comprehensive proposals, including solution architectures, deployment plans, and pricing estimates.Work closely with the sales team to prepare and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to prospective clients.Support in preparation of submissions towards RFPs and along with clear definition of SOW (scope of work) documentsDelivery and services fulfilment :Ensure that the solution implementation plan is well defined and the project execution is well managedEnsure the service quality and client communication during any project execution is timely and professional.Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout the presales process.Address customer inquiries, concerns, and objections in a timely and professional manner.Technical Training and Knowledge Transfer:Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for customers and partners to enhance their understanding of our security solutions.Share insights and best practices related to information security and cyber security with internal teams and external stakeholders.Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings in the information security and cyber security landscape.Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence activities to identify opportunities and threats in the market.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.Minimum 5 years of experience in a presales engineering role, preferably in the information security or cyber security industry.Strong technical background in information security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint security, etc.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Proven track record of successfully designing and delivering security solutions to meet customer requirements.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.
