Summary: As a Payroll Specialist, your primary responsibility will be overseeing Payroll, Statutory Compliance and Compensation & Benefits. Your role will involve preparation of payroll inputs, ensuring compliance with labour laws and supporting HR Operations.Primary Job Functions: End to End payroll processing through payroll platform with a strong knowledge in statutory payments and deductions (PF, PT, ESIC, LWF etc.,).Validation of final payroll input versus output.Resolving Employee Queries related to salary payout.Ensure F&F is processed after handover of company assets and clearances.Resolving queries of exited employees regarding F&F settlement.Preparation of revised salary fitment during the performance appraisal period.Coordinating/liaising with statutory compliance vendor to ensure the organization complies with all the applicable Labor laws and Acts.Maintaining of various registers as prescribed under the applicable Labor laws.Processing Monthly, Quarterly and Annual returns.Collaborating with business leaders to align reward strategies with organizational goals and performance objectives.Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll and compliance matters. Prepare necessary documentation as required for audit purposes.Stay updated on changes in Indian labor laws and statutory requirements related to payroll.Identify areas of process improvement within payroll and compliance functions.Compensation related trends to be prepared and sent it to the Delivery Heads.Responsible for industry benchmarking, determining pay ranges, pay mix for the organization.Support any special projects in job grading and job evaluations as per the organizations policy. Partner with HRBPs and Business leaders to maintain an appropriate grade structure and ensure effective governance.Experience: Accomplished Senior / Lead Payroll Specialist with 4-8 years of progressive experience in Payroll and Statutory Compliance.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as a team player.Advanced experience in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word etc.,)Deal with confidential data and documents.Work within tight deadlines, multitasking with working under pressure.
