We specialize in developing advanced technologies that provide visibility, security and optimized analytics of power grid to their operators.Job Summary:Utiltyx India Private Limited is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Manager/Director of Engineering with a strong background in building software solutions for the Power Grid sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of utility protocols such as DNP3 and IEC 61850, and have a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software products.Key Responsibilities:Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and maintenance.Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with company goals and objectives.Technical Expertise:Provide technical guidance and support in the development of software solutions for the Power Grid sector.Ensure the team adheres to best practices in software engineering, including code quality, testing, and documentation.Stay updated with the latest advancements in utility protocols (DNP3, IEC 61850) and integrate them into our solutions.Project Management:Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful delivery of projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and operations, to deliver high-quality products on time.Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring projects remain on track.Stakeholder Engagement:Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and partners.Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve our products and services.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience:10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Extensive experience in the Power Grid sector, with a strong understanding of utility protocols like DNP3 and IEC 61850.Proven track record of managing and delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.Technical Skills:Proficiency in software development languages such as C++, Java, or Python.Deep understanding of utility communication protocols and their application in power grid systems.Experience with software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.Leadership Skills:Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team on cutting-edge technologies.Professional development and career growth opportunities.A collaborative and inclusive work environment that values innovation and creativity.If you are a visionary leader with a passion for advancing the Power Grid sector through innovative software solutions, we invite you to apply for the position of Manager/Director of Engineering at Utiltyx India Private Limited.
